The Lasso Guard is one of the trickiest guards to pass in Jiu Jitsu. Unfortunately, the traditional double sleeve grip limits attacking options.
However, during her last seminar at Masters Academy, Chelsea Leah showed a small adjustment to the Lasso Guard that makes it a very attacking position.
The video below is taken from Chelsea Leah’s seminar in October 2016 and shows one of the sweeping options from this new Lasso Guard.
Chelsea will be teaching another seminar at Masters Academy Plymouth on Wednesday 25th January 2017. The seminar is open to anyone of any skill level from any Jiu Jitsu team.
The seminar will take place from 7:00 – 9:00 pm at our Academy in Faraday Mill will cost £25. Everyone that attends will get a digital video copy of the seminar.
